Hello,

After 4 games, we lead the league with most points earned. However, points don't count. At .625 , we do lead the league with any team with 3 or more games played. We have 2 wins, 1 tie, 1 loss.. The team is scoring some runs, we have outscored the opponent 37-29. This will be a key this year. We will need to hit, hit, and hit again. With our pitching at average or slightly above, the runs need to come early in the game. Our relief pitchers are doing a better job than we had expected at the beginning of the year. However, with 14 more games ahead, we will devote every practice to some pitching and hitting from here on out. I am proud of each and every one of the kids. They play their hearts out, they listen, and they are LEARNING. I also need to thank the parents. To have 10-12 kids at every practice makes it all worth while. You have no idea how it helps the team work together when they can practice together. I again thank you from all of the coaches for getting your kids to the practices and on time. As I have done with past years, there will always be a surprise now and then.. Look for the first newsletter coming out Sept. 29th. I also encourage coaches and parents to email me anytime with suggestions, questions, or just comments.
